NOTE: If you are using the new Amazon Beanstalk UI, you will need to make sure that enhanced health checks are on. This is an optional setting that incurs no extra charge. If you are on the old UI, the above should work smoothly, as the default is for it to be enabled.
There are a few details that Amazon wouldn’t let us automate for you, so we recommend that you follow our AWS Elastic Beanstalk install guide in our documentation. The documentation provides step-by-step instructions on the various choices available to you.
If you are an AWS expert and prefer to control all of the setup yourself, we understand. We have packaged a very small Elastic Beanstalk deployment file which you can use for deploying the app using Docker. Feel free to customize ’til your hearts content, and of course you can always download our jar file directly and create your own deployment for Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, etc.
